Herakles advancing right, lion skin tied at neck, raising club overhead in his right hand and holding bow in his left; to right, [monogram or ankh]. Rev. L'Z'B'L (in Aramaic) Lion attacking stag crouching to right; all in dotted square border within incuse square. BMC 16-8. Tziambazis 17. Zapiti & Michaelidou 5-6. An attractive piece with unusually clear reverse legend. Struck from the usual worn dies and with a flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
